Not so boring September updates
Happy September! Hope everyone got to ease into the end of summer.
This one is going to be relatively short. I didn’t want to use AI to force a cheesy connection between the end of summer, budget season, and the pattern of fall being the busiest time of year for TBM consulting. It’s true but let’s fight the good fight against AI slop!
Few updates to share:
TBM Therapy is live. It was awesome to see the positive feedback and genuine interest. We’ve got two issues published already. Visit the TBM Therapy page to see the latest answers, submit questions anonymously, and subscribe to get the weekly answers sent to your inbox.
There’s a healthy amount of interest in a Miami golf outing at TBMC26. I put together a quick form for availability and coordination. Seems like we will have a solid group. If you haven’t please complete this form and I’ll keep you in the loop as we get closer to the date. And if you know someone else in the community who’d want to join, send them the link too.
We’re building out our point of view on AI spend governance, a real framework and set of resources to help organizations start actually managing it instead of just talking about it. My team will be publishing pieces over the next several weeks leading up to TBMC.
That’s it for the updates, one last thing. I’m seeing a lot of TBM and FinOps roles popping up. We talk to a lot of people in this space, whether they are looking to break in, considering a move, or looking to hire a new team member/leader. If either side of that is you, reply and I’m happy to open my network to your search.
If anything comes to mind before the next issue, feel free to reply here. Have a good one!
